The Committee on Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page 2, line 19,  by striking the period and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

"with the following amendment:

On page 48, by inserting a new section §18 to read as follows:

'18.1 Each hospital shall conduct the following surveys and report the results:

18.1.a. The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Provider and Systems Survey;

18.1.b. The Hospital Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services' performance program metrics; and

18.1.c. The Patient Safety Culture Survey.

18.2. The Patient Safety Culture Survey of facility staff shall be the applicable survey on patient safety culture developed by the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. A hospital shall conduct the survey anonymously.

18.3. Survey results shall include the participation rate. A hospital may contract to administer the survey.  A hospital shall post the information on its website.'

And,

renumbering the remaining sections accordingly."
